Training in Bordeaux
The training in Bordeaux is led by Catherine Vallée, co-founder of the School.
The Evolutionary Art-Therapy Training® in Bordeaux:
it will be transmitted over distance from September to June, and face-to-face during a summer internship. It takes the form of weekends the first two years and in the form of optional seminars in the Third Year. It brings together in its content and practice evolutionary art-therapy®, symbolic analysis, evolutionary psychology, creativity and contemporary spirituality. Art therapy is located at the crossroads of several passions: those of art, psychology and philosophy, spirituality, to which are added a deep interest in the human person, as well as a pronounced taste for creativity: "My entire course has developed several skills in me:
- knowledge of mythologies and archetypes thanks to my university training and the teaching that I exercised as a professor of Modern Letters.
- knowledge of the spirituality cultivated during years of research.
- passion for art.
- a knowledge of the psyche thanks to the works of Jung, Assagioli, Ferrucci, De La Rocheterie, Maslow, and the authors of our School.
- the taste for the concrete, the practice and the experimentation which allowed me to make the link between the philosophical concepts and my own development.
- an experience of artistic creation: drawing, oil painting, watercolor, contemporary dance, modern jazz, wood sculpture, modeling, calligraphy, have fueled my thirst to create, as well as a regular practice of writing. Today, acrylic painting, dance, sculpture and writing occupy an important place, both as resources and fields of research. "

Author
Co-author of a book on evolutionary psychology on the influence of Judeo-Christian archetypes in the unconscious: Getting free from the patriarchate, Oriane editions. This book inspired by the drawings of the evolutive art therapy workshops reveals the hold of the collective unconscious of the past on human freedom. It also indicates how to break free from it and install new creative paradigms.
Painter
Catherine is also a painter. She paints in acrylic or gouache abstract canvases that make the colors vibrate. The breath, the dance, an instinctive inspiration which liberates the gesture nourish his paintings. Its exhibitions: in Aquitaine (Bordeaux, St Médard en Jalles, Biarritz, Bayonne), in Toulouse in galleries or other places (shops, restaurants); "actions painting" in public which allow to share the creative process (see attached photo, taken during a co-creation in front of a creative leisure store in Montauban).
